Travelling through the City of Perth our first stop will be Scone Palace. This remarkable location was the seat of parliaments and where Kings including Macbeth and Robert the Bruce were crowned.
Next, we visit Blair Castle the ancestral home of the Clan Murray whose chief holds the title Duke of Atholl, the nearby village being Blair Atholl.
After food at House of Bruar and perhaps some souvenirs, we then journey to The Queens View with stunning views across Loch Tummel towards Schiehallion, a mountain used in an experiment in 1774 to estimate the mass of planet Earth!!
Depending on your accommodation location we have options of returning via Edradour Distillery or via Aberfeldy and Loch Tay.
