Q. Do I share with other people?
A. No. Each tour is personal to you and your
group and will include only members of your party.
Q. Can I choose which vehicle?
A. Yes. The choice of our professionally maintained
and luxurious vehicles is also yours. For both your safety and comfort, we suggest a maximum of 3
persons in our Mercedes E Class (station wagon). Our Mercedes V Class (minivan) can safely and
comfortably accommodate 4 to 7 persons.
Q. Are tour start times flexible?
A. Yes. Most clients tend to start at 8am as
each tour day averages 8 to 10 hours. Should you wish an earlier or later start to see the sun rise or
accommodate some other specific request just let us know.
Q. Are meals and drinks included in the cost?
A. No. The listed cost for each tour
covers the services of your tour guide, the exclusive use of our luxury Mercedes vehicles, along with
bottled water. So, all guests receive the benefit of personal comfort on our tours, we request that you
do not eat in the vehicles. We will schedule time for both comfort and meal stops during the day. We
commonly reserve tables ahead of time to ensure the best possible dining experience.
Q. What about accommodation?
A. The cost of accommodation is not included. We have
provided links to some excellent rural accommodation providers. We have found previous clients have
enjoyed the ability to choose accommodation best suited to their particular tour or tours rather than
being based in one town or city.
Q. What about entrance fees to local attractions?
A. These are not included in the
cost of your tour.
Q. Who is responsible for ferry costs?
A. Any tours which include ferry crossings
we will book on your behalf in addition to the standard cost of your tour.
Q. Recommended Clothing and Footwear.
A. Scottish weather is famously changeable.
There may be rain in one Glen (Valley) and sunshine in the next. We recommend that you bring layers of
warm clothing, waterproofs and stout footwear.
